    OK — been on this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am UK based, generally do football and horses, small stakes, for context.

    How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I could never figure out what an ew payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

    The single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, honestly that’s where I always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at kelly criterion formula and it’s free with no account nonsense.

    One thing that really changed how I bet were the geekier tools. There’s an implied probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

    It’s not perfect mind. Its design is a bit basic — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s fine but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.

    Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.

    What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever figure out what an e/w return would be with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before every slip, even the boring singles.

    Their single bet calculator is the one I use most — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out the return instantly, fractions or decimals. There’s also the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s over at matched betting profit calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

    What genuinely made a difference were the nerdier bits. The odds-to-probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too if I’m covering two or three runners.

    Couple of gripes. The layout is a bit basic — zero frills, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s fine but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

    So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone still does the maths on paper, have a look — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.

There’s also the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15s, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track.     What genuinely changed how I bet is the more serious bits. There’s an odds-to-probability converter that shows what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

    Couple of gripes. Its interface is very functional, let’s say — no frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it works but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.
